Job Title: Finance Operations Leader
**Job Description:**

This role offers a unique blend of financial management and analytical skills, requiring an individual to manage the finance function for our Indian subsidiary while also acting as an analyst for our UK and International Commercial teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with experience in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. They will also possess excellent analytical skills, being able to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing audits of internal financial controls over financial reporting, preparing internal audit reports, and ensuring statutory compliance.
  • Managing all accounting-related issues, including financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Monitoring financial details to ensure legal requirements are met, including income tax returns and TDS payments.
  • Reviewing company financial reports to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, etc.
  • Developing strategies to minimize financial risk and optimize cash flow.

**Key Responsibilities - Finance Function (India):

Main duties include:

  • Preparation of procurement processes, stock/inventory management, and debtors/creditors records maintenance.
  • Payroll management and employee onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Monthly MIS preparation and analysis.
  • Providing ROC compliances, annual filing, incorporation of companies, and other regulatory requirements.

**Commercial Analyst Role:**

As a Commercial Analyst, your primary focus will be on performing financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking for both the Indian business and the wider UK/International business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Daily sales reporting and analyzing financial data to create/maintain financial models for decision support.
  • Reporting on financial performance and preparing regular leadership reviews.
  • Analyzing past results, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Representing Finance within the UK Commercial team to integrate business planning, accounting, and control into the decision-making process.
  • Participating in Finance and multi-function project teams.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A qualified accountant or chartered accountant certification.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably with international company exposure.
  • Strong English language skills and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and CRM systems.
