Job Overview:

This critical role plays a key part in optimizing raw material blending and production planning across global operations.

The Assistant Manager position is responsible for developing and managing blend schedules to minimize costs while meeting quality specs. They track inventories and production rates, ensuring alignment with shipment schedules.

Evaluation of sourcing options and logistics is also a key responsibility, aiming to minimize costs while meeting CPC quality specs.

Beyond that, the Assistant Manager will build and maintain business models using AI tools and Linear Programming (LP) for predictive planning.

Collaboration with Commercial, Technical Services, and Operations teams globally is essential.

Transaction handling and report generation on production, inventory, and KPIs are also vital tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in planning/blending, preferably in carbon/metallurgical industries.
  • Strong LP modeling and analytical skills are required.
  • SAP and advanced Excel proficiency are necessary.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and optimization is expected.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and adaptability in a global team environment are crucial.
