As a key figure in tax compliance, you will play a pivotal role in adding value from a global tax and regulatory perspective. This encompasses analyzing client entity structures, tax treaties, economic substance requirements, anti-abuse rules, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze tax legislations, regulations, and guidance to derive requirements independently.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple jurisdictions on tax-related queries and escalations.
  • Provide local offices with support on Mandatory Disclosure Rules (MDR, DAC6) analysis and reporting within the European Union.
  • Assist the Tax Team with operational tasks and stay current on local and global tax laws.
  • Understand Global taxation rules applicable to U.S. Persons and non-U.S. Persons.
  • Collaborate with Reporting and Global Manager to find commercially viable solutions for tax and compliance needs.
  • Promote process excellence, automation, and efficiency initiatives while meeting SLAs and TAT.
Candidate Profile:
  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree or MBA/ Qualified Accountants.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in direct taxation, corporate taxation, or international taxation with a tax advisory firm, law firm, trust, or company management firm.
  • Prior BEPS, POEM, ESR, MDR experience preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen, takes initiative, positive, proactive, dedicated, focused, and revenue-driven.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent client-facing skills with well-developed spoken and written communication skills.
  • Excellent English language fluency; additional languages preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution-driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Independent, hands-on, and accountable for delivering solutions and results.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a smaller, dynamic local team environment.
