Automated Testing Specialist Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automated Testing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and guide junior team members. Collaborating with cross-functional teams is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Execution and Analysis: Execute automated test scripts to verify functionality, performance, and reliability, and analyze test results to report defects using issue tracking tools.
  • Test Planning and Data Management: Assist in the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test data sets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript), and experience with API Testing using POSTMAN, Functional Testing, Jira tool, and Excel.
