Job Title: Switchgear/Switchboard Design Engineer

We seek an expert in UL-compliant switchgear and switchboard design to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed designs for enclosures, busbar supports, frames, and layouts for switchgear/switchboards.
  • Develop 2D/3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, and BOMs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Evaluate and ensure designs comply with relevant safety standards (UL 1558, UL 891, UL 508A, UL 67).
  • Analyze and address thermal management, mechanical strength, structural stability, and vibration requirements.
  • Interpret electrical schematics to guarantee proper mechanical/electrical integration.
  • Collaborate with electrical designers to deliver fully integrated solutions.
  • Validate designs for manufacturability, reliability, and compliance.
  • Lead assigned design tasks independently without step-by-step supervision.
  • Drive design reviews, resolve technical issues, and provide engineering inputs across project phases.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven hands-on experience in switchgear/switchboard design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other related software.
