Senior Business Intelligence Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing data models and pipelines, integrating SAP and non-SAP sources, and developing views and data layers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding stakeholder data needs and translating them into technical solutions. They will also be responsible for implementing data governance, security, and privacy using SAP Datasphere capabilities.

Additionally, the candidate will develop dashboards and reports in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) per business requirements, integrate SAP Datasphere with SAC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and external databases, conduct end-user training, and provide post-implementation support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement end-to-end data models and pipelines in SAP Datasphere.
  • Integrate SAP and non-SAP sources using Data Provisioning and Federation tools.
  • Develop views and data layers using SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA Cloud.
  • Understand stakeholder data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement data governance, security, and privacy using SAP Datasphere capabilities.
  • Develop dashboards and reports in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) per business requirements.
  • Integrate SAP Datasphere with SAC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and external databases.
  • Conduct end-user training and provide post-implementation support.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in SAP Datasphere: data modeling, spaces, and data flows.
  • Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud: story building, planning, live data connections.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BW/4HANA and S/4HANA data sources.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture and data integration.
  • Robust SQL skills and data transformation logic capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical ABAP experience including AMDP, CDS view creation, ODP, BAdIs.
  • Expertise in HANA-specific features like Calculation Views and fine-tuning function module extractors during migrations.
  • Knowledge of ADSOs (Advanced DataStore Objects), Composite Providers, and ODS Views.
