Job Description

Mandate:

  • Lead data migration projects in software implementation, focusing on legacy database migration.
  • Develop comprehensive data mapping and transformation plans to align data with the company's software solution.
  • Analyze data structures, formats, and schemas from other Intellectual Property solutions, devising effective migration strategies.
  • Design and build automation systems for mapping, transforming, and migrating data from legacy systems.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate automation systems into the data migration workflow.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead a team of Data Migration specialists, ensuring they have necessary skills, resources, and support to execute data migration projects effectively.
  • Data Mapping and Transformation:
    • Develop data mapping and transformation plans to align data with the company's software solution.
  • Competitor Data Analysis:
    • Analyze data structures, formats, and schemas from other Intellectual Property solutions.
  • Automation System Development:
    • Design and build automation systems for mapping, transforming, and migrating data.
  • IP Domain Expertise:
    • Utilize expertise in the Intellectual Property domain to understand IP data nuances.
  • Technical Integration and Customization:
    • Work closely with technical teams to integrate automation systems into the data migration workflow.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing:
    • Establish quality assurance processes and test cases tailored to IP data migration.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Engage directly with clients to understand their specific data migration requirements.
  • Continuous Learning and Innovation:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data migration and automation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data migration initiatives meet business goals.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
    • Document migration processes, workflows, and automation procedures, creating a knowledge base for future reference and training.
  • Experience:
    • Candidate should have extensive experience in leading data migration projects (10+ years).
    • Should have a deep understanding of data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices.
