About This Role:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in event operations, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality events and corporate programs. This individual will be responsible for leading and overseeing all operational aspects of MICE division, ensuring seamless planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and client relations teams to align operational execution with business goals.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, venues, and service providers to secure competitive rates and quality services.
  • Conduct site inspections, assess venues, and ensure all event requirements are met.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational efficiency, implement process improvements, and drive cost optimization.
  • Oversee compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards during event execution.
  • Handle risk management and contingency planning for seamless event delivery.
  • Prepare operational reports and MIS for senior management and clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years in event operations or related roles, with 3+ years in MICE operations leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of the MICE industry, event management best practices, and vendor management.
  • Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, event management software, and reporting tools.
