About This Role

This position requires a seasoned audit professional to oversee the execution of assurance activities and consulting projects within our organization.

  • The Associate Vice President will be responsible for managing staff/consultants in more complex audit validation activities, providing guidance on project deliverables, and ensuring high-quality work is produced across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Issue Validation: Directly supervise assigned issues, including test step development, risk assessment, remedial activity validation, and reporting to senior management.
  • Internal Stakeholder Management: Manage internal stakeholders and ensure quality control and judgment calls in audit work are executed as per organizational standards.
  • Audit Work Supervision: Hold accountable for supervising and ensuring accountability of audit work quality and judgment calls.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional auditing certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, CISSP are highly desirable.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in internal or external audit/risk management.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment, audit methodology, and execution required.
  • Experience in auditing information systems is necessary, preferably with 5+ years in this domain.
