Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable backend systems, with expertise in Kotlin or Java.

Job Requirements
  • Design, build, and maintain robust RESTful API and NoSQL services that power our device and platform ecosystem.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Product Managers, QA Engineers, and cross-functional software and hardware teams.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable software designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • API Development: Design, build, and maintain RESTful API and NoSQL services that interact with and manage hardware devices.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Product Managers, QA Engineers, and cross-functional software and hardware teams.
  • Requirements Analysis: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable software designs.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years building scalable backend services using RESTful API and NoSQL.
  • Strong experience with backend development in Java or Kotlin.
  • Proven track record designing and developing software that interacts with or manages hardware devices.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerized services and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
