Climate and Energy Consultant

As a Climate and Energy Consultant, you will be part of a team that helps clients integrate environmental, social, economic, and governance considerations into their business strategies. Your role will involve managing sustainability risks, identifying opportunities, and driving positive social and environmental impact.

Key areas of focus include climate change mitigation and adaptation, energy efficiency, and renewable energy solutions. You will work closely with clients to analyze their needs, develop strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and provide guidance on transitioning to a low-carbon economy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sustainable change initiatives
  • Conducting assessments and analyses of client operations to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong consulting background with experience in the metals and mining sector
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Experience with financial modeling and feasibility studies

Preferred skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience with carbon accounting and carbon pricing
  • Knowledge of climate finance and climate policy
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities

Education qualification: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, environmental science) and Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA). Years of experience required: 9 years.
