Job Role

This position involves the creation of data analysis programs and technical solutions to ensure accurate and efficient outcomes.

  • Develop, test, and implement software programs in Unix and Databricks for data analysis and presentation purposes.
  • Provide programming support and expertise to team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Represent the programming function in meetings and provide input on key project decisions.
  • Manage program development timelines and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed programming plans and specifications.
  • Review and approve key project documents.
  • Write and/or review department-level macros and utilities.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Participate in audits and quality reviews.
  • Respond to audit findings and recommendations.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive business results.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee staff performance and resource allocation.

Basic Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Economics or other relevant field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Economics or other relevant field.
  • Diploma in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Economics or other relevant field with 7-9 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SQL, statistical programming using SAS or R, and Python.
  • Training or experience using the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) common data model.
  • Real-world evidence generation in pharmaceutical or related research industries, or statistical programming for clinical trials.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop complex datasets and troubleshoot issues.
