As a senior Intellectual Property (IP) expert, you will play a crucial role in protecting our company's know-how and managing IP-related risks. Your primary objective will be to support the Product and Technology Development team by establishing, maintaining, and defending a robust IP portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the protection and defense of intellectual property, including company know-how.
  • Conduct novelty searches and analyze resulting data to identify potential inventions.
  • Initiate patent applications and prosecute them through the relevant authorities.
  • Enforce trademarks and register new ones as necessary.
  • Defend against third-party IP rights attacks and review patents and trademarks for compliance.
  • Identify IP infringements and enforce IP rights through legal means.
  • Develop and negotiate IP-related agreements with partners and stakeholders.
Scientific Information Management & Awareness
  • Provide internal search requests (patents, literature, prior art) to R&D teams.
  • Manage patent submissions across multiple jurisdictions and counsel technical teams on patentability, infringement, and innovation strategy.
  • Retrieve and analyze external IP-related data using advanced databases and conduct IP awareness training programs for technical staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry; preferred: Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry.
  • Total experience: at least 8 years in the IPR industry, with at least 4 years of experience specifically in Chemical, Pharma, or Agrochemical industries.
  • Preferred industry experience in EV, Hydrogen, Solar, Fluorospeciality, Fluorochemicals, Polymers, or Organic Chemistry sectors.
