Underwriter - Income Specialist

We are currently seeking Underwriters with expertise in income calculation to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the evaluation and validation of financial documents such as W2s, 1040s, paystubs, and bank statements.
  • Analyze and assess applicant's debt-to-income (DTI) ratios, loan-to-value (LTV), housing expense-to-income (HTI) ratios, and adherence to mortgage underwriting guidelines for FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC programs.

To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of US mortgage underwriting regulations, excellent communication skills, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
