The role of a Data Analyst is crucial in ensuring efficient and accurate processing of data within their area of responsibility.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring timely, complete and accurate processing of data, performing all relevant controls.
  • Applying internal and external policies, guidelines and requirements of regulators and SLAs, KRIs and/or KPIs and quality measures.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to provide a point of contact for time critical, complex or regulated tasks.
  • Providing input to product/function development to ensure a superior offering in response to changing client needs and market trends.
  • Escalating operational, regulatory and other risks to line manager and functional leads as appropriate.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of mitigation or control solutions.

Key Skills:

  • Relevant experience in one or more specific technical areas, with data analysis experience being an added advantage.
  • Product and system knowledge in the product line.
  • Basic analytical skills and flexible problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English and local language (written/verbal) as appropriate.
  • Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix organizations.

Desirable Skills:

  • Data analysis, TLM, Trade Lifecycle, Domain Knowledge - Investment Bank.

Experience:

  • Relevant experience in one or more specific technical areas, with data analysis experience being an added advantage.
  • Product and system knowledge in the product line.
  • Basic analytical skills and flexible problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English and local language (written/verbal) as appropriate.
  • Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with data in a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
