Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead our team in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data center networking, software-defined networking, and virtualization.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Architecting and designing cloud network infrastructure, including physical and software-defined network frameworks.
  2. Ensuring high availability, flexibility, and network performance, while maintaining service-level agreements (SLAs).
  3. Maintaining and updating infrastructure documentation, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  4. Providing technical guidance and expertise to the team, evaluating team member performance, and providing feedback to HR.
  5. Monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics and trends to assess risks and business impact, and providing recommendations to improve cloud network infrastructure.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data center networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless devices.
  • Strong fundamentals and understanding of WAN & routing technologies, security technologies, switching technologies, network monitoring protocols, and SDN technologies.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly narrow down and resolve problems.
  • Experience in handling a team of at least 4 people in a similar role.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies.

Bonus Attributes
Hands-on expertise in CloudStack networking is a plus.
