Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent thinking individual to join our global team as a Legal Operations Professional. As a member of the Case Oversight & Administration Team, you will handle case intake, data management, and initial assessment for litigation at a leading financial institution.

The Case Oversight & Administration Team is a collaborative and inclusive group that requires individuals with excellent legal knowledge and business acumen. Your role involves reviewing documents, conducting research, applying policies, interacting with staff, creating reports, and analyzing data in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Examine and prioritize legal documents to decide if they should be managed by the Litigation Department or routed to another area of the business.
  2. Conduct detailed research using internal and external systems to understand customer relationships related to potential litigation.
  3. Respond to specific research requests and data requests as needed.
  4. Maintain electronic case files updated with matter initiating documents and any additional documents served to the firm.
  5. Identify urgent issues and escalate them promptly to management when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Analytical, organizational, research, presentation, time management, and project management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Legal experience preferred, particularly in the finance industry.
  • Strong English language skills and working knowledge of banking and finance.
  • Familiarity with US law and regulations regarding the financial industry.
