Data Management Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Specialist to oversee the data management function, ensuring seamless reconciliation, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will maintain excellent relations with corporate entities, clients, Third-Party Administrators, and insurance companies for efficient endorsement processing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate collection, collation, reconciliation, and uploading of client and policy data in the portal.
  • Collate and prepare required reports as per business needs.
  • Develop insightful reports based on business requirements.
  • Maintain prompt Turn-Around-Time (TAT) for additions, deletions, and corrections in endorsements.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis using Excel tools.
  • Notify insurers of client data post-quality check and calculation.
  • Follow up with insurers for timely closure of endorsements within TAT.
  • Create forecasts, predictions, and recommendations based on existing policy terms.
  • Present regular reports highlighting issues, observations, or outcomes.
  • Mentor team members, improve performance, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Nurture client relationships and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Design report specifications and analysis frameworks based on business demands.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from any background; General Insurance certifications are an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in General Insurance industry (Insurance Company/Brokers/TPA).
  • Proficiency in handling data management portals, preferably 'SAIBA'.
  • Experience in managing a team of considerable size.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office.
  • Excellent Team Management, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for problem-solving.
  • Ability to work with large datasets across multiple systems.
  • Strong Communication and negotiation skills.
