Job Title: Senior Automation Developer

Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to spearhead automation and testing initiatives within a software development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks that align with quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with development and product teams to formulate efficient testing strategies.
  • Mentor colleagues and recommend best practices for automation.
  • Oversee test execution and drive continuous improvement in the automation process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Test Automation using Java and JavaScript for both UI and Service tiers.
  • Prior experience working on trading or financial services domain.
  • Able to comprehend and certify core applications at a functional level.
  • Strong background in writing comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test plans that align with business requirements.
  • API testing experience is mandatory.
  • Proficient in automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
  • Experience with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD).
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD and requirement analysis.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
