We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for architecting and developing a trusted, scalable, and compliant platform to operate with speed, efficiency, and quality.

Your primary focus will be on building a critical platform that makes up the existence of our organization. This includes working on high-impact projects that require technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong background in backend development.
  • 2+ years of experience in architecting big data systems using Apache Spark and Hive.
  • Proven ability to mentor and train junior engineers on design techniques and coding standards.
  • Excellent knowledge of high-quality code and software engineering processes.
  • A passion for building an open financial system that brings the world together.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Golang, gRPC, Docker, SnowFlake, Databricks, and advanced SQL.
  • Finance and accounting team experience.
  • Performance tuning of big data systems experience.
  • Kyriba integration experience.
  • Fintech domain experience.
