Job Description

Role Overview

The primary goal of this position is to design and develop high-quality dryers that meet specific parameters for quality, cost, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development
    • This role involves developing new dryer products that meet the specified QCD parameters.
    • It also includes managing engineering changes and updates.
  • Reliable Products
    • The individual responsible for this role must ensure the availability, adequacy, and adherence to processes that enable quality products.
    • They will also be responsible for monitoring defects per million units (DPMU).
  • Lowest Material Cost
    • The ideal candidate should identify ways to reduce material cost through design optimization.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is a requirement, while a Master's degree in Thermal domain is preferred.

Core Skills:

  • The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of experience in designing and developing desiccant dryers.

Bonus Skills:

  • A background in designing and developing desiccant dryers for compressed air applications would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of desiccants, heat exchangers, fans, valves, and controllers is essential.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and testing facilities requirements is necessary.
  • Knowledge of supplier networks for dryer-related parts is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of statutory, standard, and certification requirements is mandatory.
