We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive forward our Release Management and DevOps initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Change Request creation, cross-team coordination, and automation-driven delivery pipelines, coupled with exceptional collaboration skills to effectively work with diverse stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:Release Management
  • Plan, schedule, and manage software releases across multiple environments, ensuring timely and quality delivery with minimal disruption.
  • Maintain release calendars and coordinate with stakeholders for alignment.
Change Request (CR) Management
  • Create, track, and manage CRs through their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with governance and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to assess impact and risk.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Foster collaboration between development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams, facilitating release readiness meetings and post-release reviews.
  • Resolve conflicts and dependencies across teams to ensure smooth delivery.
DevOps & Automation
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc., driving scalability and reliability.
  • Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Communication & Collaboration
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, conveying technical and non-technical information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Foster a collaborative environment across geographically distributed teams.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain detailed release notes, CR logs, and deployment documentation.
  • Provide regular status updates and metrics to leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in Release Management and DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile processes.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, Groovy).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git), ticketing tools (JIRA, ServiceNow), and monitoring tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in DevOps & Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in regulated industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance standards in release processes.
