Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Database Specialist to lead our cloud migration initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless database migrations across various environments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Exadata administration, migration, and performance tuning, as well as hands-on expertise with cloud-native database solutions in AWS and Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute end-to-end database migrations across various platforms, including data center-to-data center, AWS-to-AWS, and Azure-to-Azure.
  • Define and drive migration strategy, methodologies, and best practices to ensure minimal downtime and successful program delivery.
  • Implement delta data synchronization strategies for near-zero downtime migration and use Oracle Enterprise Manager for database performance monitoring, health checks, and proactive alerting.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects, infrastructure teams, and application owners to ensure smooth migration with minimal business disruption.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of Oracle Database experience, with 5+ years in leadership/managerial roles overseeing database migration programs.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale Oracle migrations in multi-cloud, Exadata, and ExaCC environments.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native database solutions in AWS (RDS, EC2, S3) and Azure (Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Recovery Vaults).
