Compensation and Rewards Expert

  • Leads the strategic development and implementation of total rewards programs for a global organization.
  • Oversees the compensation and benefits function across India, driving consistency and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Advocates for the organization's total rewards philosophy, collaborating with local leaders and teams to drive its adoption.
  2. Serves as the primary point of contact for Total Rewards management in India, meeting with senior leaders and managers to educate, train, and communicate the total reward philosophy.
  3. Researches and analyzes compensation and benefits practices in India, maintaining a network of contacts and vendors to gather market intelligence.
  4. Proactively benchmarks compensation and benefits internally and externally.
  5. Recommends changes to pay structures to ensure market competitiveness and pay fairness.
  6. Designs and conducts training on key compensation and total rewards issues, concepts, or processes.
  7. Mentors and strengthens the local Rewards team that develops and executes programs, practices, and processes.
  8. Transforms processes to gain efficiencies through automation or streamlining, working with People Technology or Transformation/Operations teams as necessary.
  9. Works with the Global Rewards team on key initiatives, such as new programs, budgeting, benchmarking, Performance Management, etc., and serves as the voice of local needs in liaison with local resources.
  10. Drives and supports Pay review processes and related communications, including Pay increase, promotions, performance management, off-cycle adjustments, Internal job posting, global mobility, etc.
  11. Establishes, maintains, and supports job leveling and compensation benchmarking programs, Leader/Manager education of compensation structure changes and impact.
  12. Is responsible for overseeing benefits programs to innovate, manage on a consistent basis, and build a best-in-class Employee Benefits Program.
