Job Title: Chief Data Architecture Strategist

Job Summary:
We seek a visionary leader to spearhead our data engineering efforts. The successful candidate will design and develop scalable real-time & batch data pipelines, drive strategic initiatives, and enhance data governance & compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex data architectures that support increasing data demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data domains across banking products, ensuring security, governance, and compliance.
  • Oversee ETL processes, data modeling, integration, orchestration, and automation for seamless data operations.
  • Work with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to improve data models, enhance accessibility, and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide L2/L3 support, debug data issues, and ensure high availability & quality of production data.
  • Implement risk controls, audit reviews, RCSA, and maintain compliance with data privacy regulations through access controls, encryption, and masking.
  • Identify and mitigate bottlenecks, forecast storage & processing needs, and ensure a scalable data infrastructure.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • Expertise in designing and developing scalable real-time & batch data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams to establish data domains and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Proficiency in ETL processes, data modeling, integration, orchestration, and automation.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide L2/L3 support and debug data issues.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and ability to implement risk controls and maintain compliance.

Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in data engineering, architecture, and governance. A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Additionally, the following skills are necessary:

  • Programming languages (Python, Java, etc.)
  • Database management systems (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Data warehousing and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
