Senior Auditors are sought after by our firm to lead complex financial audits for U.S. real estate and private equity funds.

Audit experience is required in these sectors, particularly with registered funds and digital assets.

This role involves working directly with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely audit results.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting standards and regulations, as well as technical knowledge of audit methodologies and financial reporting.

The selected Senior Auditor will contribute to strategic decision-making within the firm and work closely with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive audit services.

  • Audit and Assurance:
  • Lead audits for U.S. real estate and private equity funds, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulations.
  • Execute end-to-end audit engagements, including planning, risk assessment, testing, and documentation, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Review and validate fund-specific transactions, including capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
  • Private Fund and Real Estate Fund Expertise:
  • Analyze and reconcile capital accounts, investor distributions, and investment performance for both real estate and private equity funds.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex fund structures, including joint ventures, special purpose entities, and leveraged investments in real estate.
  • Stay updated with regulatory developments impacting real estate funds and private equity, especially in relation to digital assets, cryptocurrency, and other emerging investment vehicles.
  • Audit of Registered Funds & Digital Assets:
  • Audit registered funds, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements such as the Investment Company Act and applicable SEC rules.
  • Ensure the appropriate valuation of digital assets and related transactions, applying industry best practices and U.S. GAAP standards for cryptocurrency reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3+ years of audit experience in the real estate fund and private equity sectors.
  • Familiarity with digital assets or blockchain-related financial transactions is an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly in the context of real estate investment, private equity, and digital asset funds.
