Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the entire accounts payable process, ensuring seamless payment transactions and accurate record-keeping.

  • Explain and assist vendors and stakeholders with the accounts payable process.
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to ensure accurate postings and vendor ledger reconciliation.
  • Send timely payment requests to Finance.
  • Analyze bank statements and resolve discrepancies in payment processes.
  • Generate and approve vendor invoices.
  • Resolve vendor payment queries.
  • Prepare payment records for audits.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master's in Commerce (MCom), Chartered Accountant (CA) Intermediate preferred.
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the same domain with corporate experience.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  4. Complete knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and laws governing the accounting field.
  5. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  6. Good communication and negotiation skills.
  7. Detail-oriented individual.
  8. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  9. A team player with ability to work independently.
  10. Ability to handle stressful situations.
  11. Good time management and organizational skills.
