Web Analyst Position Overview

This role involves leading the end-to-end tracking and analytics setup for our web platform. The successful candidate will design and implement a comprehensive measurement framework to ensure accurate data collection and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a robust tracking and measurement plan aligned with platform architecture and business objectives.
  • Configure and maintain tracking infrastructure using Google Tag Manager, Mixpanel, and OneTrust Consent Platform.
  • Implement event tracking, user flow analysis, and conversion tracking.
  • Create custom Mixpanel dashboards and reports to monitor site performance and key KPIs.
  • Analyze critical user behaviors including navigation patterns, feature engagement, and drop-off points.
  • Optimize tracking for multi-step conversion funnels.
  • Apply A/B testing and user segmentation strategies to evaluate and enhance performance.
  • Verify tracking accuracy through testing and debugging of event implementations.
  • Evaluate data integrity and troubleshoot inconsistencies.
  • Build real-time reporting dashboards in Mixpanel.
  • Maintain compliance with privacy regulations via cookie consent management using OneTrust.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of tracking scripts.
  • Work closely with the Web Lead (PM) to integrate analytics into the development roadmap.
  • Provide insights into user behavior and engagement patterns to UX and marketing teams.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in web analytics and tracking implementation.
  • Hands-on expertise with GTM, Mixpanel, and consent management platforms (e.g., OneTrust).
  • Strong understanding of event-based analytics, conversion funnels, and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on tracking and data collection.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience building real-time dashboards and custom reports.
  • Ability to translate business goals into measurable KPIs.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
