Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle OSM (Order and Service Management) expert to lead the implementation of OSS solutions for complex projects in the telecommunications domain.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle Communications OSS products, enabling them to design, implement, and support OSS solutions from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive technical designs for OSS solutions.
  • Translate high-level requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Prepare project-specific documentation, including technical design documents and code.
  • Perform code build and deployment for development and testing environments.
  • Handle installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of OSM and related components.
  • Support solution integration, testing, and optimization activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end OSS implementations.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 3–9 years of experience with Oracle OSM (version 7.3.x and above), preferably in the telecommunications domain.

  • Education: BE/BTech/MCA/MTech in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of OSS domain concepts and communications industry workflows.
  • Proficiency with Java, XML, XQuery, WebServices, WebLogic, and RDBMS technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments and scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with OSM installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Awareness of TMF/eTOM, SID Data Model, and Oracle RODOD/RSDOD solutions.
