Financial Accountant Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring vendor balances, managing cash flow and ensuring timely payments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify invoices against agreements, approvals and purchase orders
  • Review data entries in SAP to ensure accurate accounting

Payment Management:

  • Monitor invoices received from vendors and ensure QA team releases material as per SOP
  • Collaborate with treasury for timely payment and review reports for delayed payments
  • Ensure payment vouchers are sent to Treasury team on payment days

Vendor Reconciliation:

  • Ensure completeness of accounts reconciliations with vendors as per SOP
  • Validate differences in accounts and follow up on issues

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor reports sent to internal and external customers
  • Review information requirements from all customers and provide complete information as needed
  • Respond to queries in a timely manner

Compliance and Audits:

  • Ensure adherence to compliances related to TDS and GST and other statutory requirements
  • Share data with auditors as required

Automation:

  • Identify areas for automation and implement digitalization with partners

Qualifications and Experience:

MBA Finance or CA certification with 8-10 years of experience in finance and accounting.
