Business Credit Analyst Role

The main goal of the role is to evaluate deals and build financial models for credit memos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate business deals to understand industry trends and prepare financial models, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
  • Present business deals to senior management in a PowerPoint format, highlighting key features and risks.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate deal disbursements and ensure timely payments.
  • Provide regular reporting to top management on deal performance and market trends.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Mentor junior analysts and management trainees to develop their skills and knowledge.

Key Skills:

  • Strong understanding of business, finance, and credit principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling using MS Excel and ability to create and maintain complex models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
