Job Overview:

  • The role of Senior Auditor involves conducting comprehensive audits of branches, departments, and other units to ensure the organization's financial integrity and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out independent audits of large branches and units, identifying areas of improvement and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with regional operations teams across multiple business functions to ensure complete coverage of scope and adherence to audit procedures.
  • Stay updated on regulatory guidelines and best practices in the field of audit, incorporating new knowledge into audit processes.
  • Sampling of data from core systems to identify exceptions and support audit findings.
  • Ensure thoroughness and accuracy in all audit activities, adhering to audit checklists and standard procedures.
  • Prepare and finalize draft audit reports, including executive summaries, and engage in discussions with auditees to address concerns and recommendations.
  • Assign risks to audit observations and determine indicative audit ratings based on findings.
  • Submit comprehensive reports to reviewers for review and feedback.
  • Conduct spot audits as needed and provide input on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) findings and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes as necessary.
  • Review and close audit responses, updating databases accordingly.
