Accounts Receivable Specialist

The role involves managing client invoicing, collections, reconciliations and reporting with accuracy and compliance to accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Billing & Invoicing: Generate, review and distribute client invoices ensuring accuracy and company policies. Prepare customer statements and bills to maintain financial records.
  • Payment Processing & Account Management: Process incoming payments, applying them to appropriate accounts. Monitor receivable balances, track overdue accounts, follow up for timely collections. Investigate payment discrepancies, billing issues and customer queries.
  • Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare accounts receivable reports including aging analysis and collection activities. Process account adjustments, issue credit memos and support departmental reconciliations. Assist month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Credit Control: Handle disputes, deductions and chargebacks professionally. Ensure swift resolution to maintain positive client relationships.
  • Compliance, Documentation & Controls: Maintain organized confidential records of invoices, receipts and correspondence. Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations. Provide necessary documentation and support for audits.
  • Process Improvements: Participate in process improvement initiatives within accounts receivable. Collaborate cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency.

  • Multitasking skills to handle multiple clients under pressure.
  • Effective written verbal English communication skills.
  • Good understanding Canadian American accent essential this position.
