Job Overview

Seeking an experienced and organized professional to oversee site operations, manage material handling, loading, and unloading. Ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all site activities, including material handling, loading, and unloading.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Schedule work of laborers, drivers, and subcontractors as needed.
  • Monitor equipment usage and maintain schedules.
  • Enforce site safety standards and conduct regular safety briefings.
  • Communicate with logistics and operations teams for timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and daily site activities.
  • Identify and resolve issues that cause delays or safety hazards.
  • Provide training on proper loading techniques and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a supervisor in logistics, warehouse, or construction settings.
  • Strong understanding of safe loading practices and site operations.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications and reporting.
  • Forklift or heavy equipment certification preferred.

Work Conditions:

  • Outdoor field environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Physical tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing may be required.
  • Standard workweek with occasional overtime, weekends, or night shifts.
