Job Title: Water Treatment Plant Manager

As a seasoned water treatment professional, you will oversee the operation, maintenance, and quality assurance of our Demineralisation (DM) Water Treatment Plant.

The DM water treatment process involves Reverse Osmosis (RO), Electrodeionization (EDI), Softener, Degasser Tower, and Mixed Bed units. You must ensure a consistent and reliable supply of DM water with required quality parameters for high-pressure boilers and turbines.

You will conduct regular chemical analysis of raw water, DM water, condensate, and feedwater to maintain steam purity and avoid boiler/turbine scaling and corrosion.

  • Operate and supervise the entire DM water treatment process.
  • Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot process issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory norms.
  • Collaborate with boiler operations team for feedwater and steam chemistry management.
  • Lead a team of experienced water treatment technicians/operators.

To succeed in this role, you will require expertise in DM water production and boiler feedwater treatment, strong understanding of steam-water cycle chemistry, and exceptional leadership skills.

We are seeking candidates with a B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or Environmental Science, and 5–10 years of experience in DM plant operations in thermal or biomass power plants.

This is a full-time position that requires a deep understanding of water treatment processes and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
