Key Responsibilities:

Mainframe testing is a critical component of ensuring the reliability and efficiency of mainframe systems.

  • Proven experience in quality assurance manual and automation with a focus on mainframe testing.
  • Prior experience with JCL, COBOL, SQL, and other mainframe technologies.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Rest Assured, Karate, Selenium, and Cucumber using Java.
  • Strong knowledge of testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches.
  • Exceptional analytical capability and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Awareness of CI/CD and DevOps concepts, particularly Jenkins.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with global teams and stakeholders on allocated activities.
  • Knowledge of JIRA and good understanding of industry requirements.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in mainframe testing.
  • Extensive knowledge of testing skills including estimations, writing test scenarios, cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, and verifying bugs.
  • Ability to perform testing independently and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
