The role of a Space Planner involves overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring innovative and functional designs that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and specifications to deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify design needs and develop feasibility reports and proposals.
  • Generate design ideas that incorporate environmental considerations, building usage, and client objectives.
  • Work closely with Lead Designers on various projects and assigned tasks.
  • Develop detailed blueprints, making necessary corrections as needed.
  • Compile and maintain project records, including specifications, budgets, and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and provide reports.
  • Liaise with construction and interior professionals to deliver successful projects.
  • Stay updated on architectural trends and advancements.
  • Provide pre-designed materials, such as environmental impact assessments and feasibility studies.
  • Manage project escalations effectively.
  • Define client design goals and establish project timelines for completion.
  • Source materials and products in line with design plans.
  • Create visual aids, such as mood boards, to communicate design vision.
  • Utilize computer applications throughout the design process.
  • Inspect completed designs to ensure they meet client expectations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in design, preferably in a lead role.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Sketch Up, V-ray Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing previous design work.
