Job Overview


The company, FRI FIL India Business and Research Services Private Limited, is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Solutions Developer to join their team in Bangalore, India.


This role requires the person to have in-depth knowledge of Java, J2EE architecture, and experience in designing and developing best-in-class reporting solutions using BI and Analytics tools.


The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Oracle and PL/SQL technologies, with hands-on experience in writing complex queries and stored procedures.


In this position, the individual will be responsible for evaluating existing reporting solutions, designing and developing new ones, and migrating them to strategic platforms.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Designing and developing high-quality reporting solutions to support client reporting and distribution within the Enterprise Delivery group.
  • Creating, testing, and documenting all new or modified client reporting systems, applications, and programs.
  • Documenting technical design specifications for report definitions and layout.
  • Executing changes: designing, timely development, and testing.
  • Troubleshooting tools, systems, and software; performance-tuning these applications as necessary.
  • Participating in the SW development lifecycle at various stages (Requirement Analysis, Testing, SIT, UAT etc) for validation & verification of proposed solution for a business problem.

Technical Requirements:



  • BE / B.Tech. / MCA / any equivalent degree from a government recognized University / Institute.
  • 3-5 years of experience in application development using core Java/J2EE, any of the following reporting tools: Web FOCUS 7.x, QlikView, Jasper, Vermilion, BOXI etc.
  • Around 2 years of experience in RDBMS in writing PL/SQL or Stored Procedures. Oracle 10G or above preferred.
  • End-to-end knowledge of data warehouse architecture with preferred exposure in Oracle or equivalent database.
  • Advanced Unix and shell scripting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of different backup and DR strategies and exposure of load balancing in any reporting tool.
  • Very sound knowledge of underlying infrastructure which includes servers, load balancers, metadata models.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is ₹20,00,000 - ₹35,00,000, depending on experience.
