Service Technician for Marine Air Conditioning Systems

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and rectifying issues related to air conditioning refrigeration systems on board ships.

  • Defect Identification: The technician will analyze data from onboard logbooks to identify defects in the AC refrigeration systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Using manuals, PID drawings, and control philosophy, the technician will troubleshoot and resolve issues with the AC refrigeration systems.
  • Report Preparation: After every visit and work completion, the technician will prepare service reports detailing the work done.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering with 5-8 years of experience in servicing air conditioning refrigeration systems on land or at sea.

Preferred Qualification: Previous experience in servicing AC refrigeration systems on ships is highly desirable.
