Marine PMS Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Marine PMS and Database Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of PMS workflows and database creation.

The Role:
  • Create and configure equipment sheets for PMS databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data population.
  • Extract, structure, and import maintenance tasks from OEM manuals, providing clear and detailed documentation.
  • Develop job cards (dismantling, inspection, assembly) that meet industry standards and best practices.
  • Map equipment hierarchy within PMS, guaranteeing seamless integration and data management.
  • Manage import sheets and front-end PMS data loading, minimizing errors and maximizing productivity.
  • Maintain accurate and traceable PMS data to support audits and quality control initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
  • Mechanical or marine engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 2-5 years' experience in PMS data population or marine technical documentation, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and simplify complex engineering/marine manuals.
  • Excellent English communication and technical writing skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
  • Good knowledge of database structuring and equipment hierarchy, with the ability to design and implement efficient systems.
  • Detail-oriented, disciplined, and process-driven, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
