Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Microservices architecture, with excellent understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.

You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and robust backend systems, applying MVC design patterns, and adhering to software engineering best practices and coding standards.

Apart from coding, you will also perform code reviews, provide mentorship and guidance to other developers, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end functionality and seamless integration with various interfaces.

In this role, you will communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements and present deliverables. You will also ensure compliance with non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and robust backend systems using Java Microservices architecture.
  • Apply MVC design patterns and adhere to software engineering best practices and coding standards.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code while ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
  • Perform code reviews and provide mentorship and guidance to other developers.
  • Work closely with the Scrum Master and Delivery Lead to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and acceptance tests to ensure high code quality.
  • Support the testing, training, and deployment phases of software releases.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end functionality and seamless integration with various interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, and security.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements and present deliverables.
