Job Title: Project Director

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a seasoned construction professional to lead our projects in India.


About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with strong leadership abilities to manage our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of civil engineering standards, codes, and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of civil engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Handle all aspects of drawing, planning, execution, and mapping.
  • Lead pre-opening project work, ensuring timely completion.
  • Manage projection work under purchase, consumption, and related heads.
  • Develop and execute proper budgetary and target planning.
  • Coordinate between service providers (architects, contractors, consultants), site staff, and stakeholders.
  • Supervise, mentor, and guide engineering teams.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, meetings, and quality checks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, budgets, handover lists, and working updates.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and address grievances efficiently.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience (hotel/resort project experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of project viability assessment for new developments.
  • Proficiency in civil engineering software (an advantage).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel and on-site presence.
