Senior Operations Manager Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our flagship branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing service and operations, reviewing branch operations reports, and controlling reports.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with experience in maintaining good Branch Service Index (Service Standards Score Card) and Branch Health Score Card (Operations Score Card) on a monthly basis.
  • They will also be responsible for tracking and closing attachment orders and regulatory notices, receiving notices arranging required data and submission to the authority in prescribed timelines.
  • The role requires the ability to coordinate with operating agencies and branches on a daily basis, as well as ensuring quality checks for all financial and non-financial instructions to ensure quick processing at the back-end.
  • Additionally, the Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for tracking branch leads, allocation, and closure to participate in branch book improvement and profitability, as well as efficient management of teller counter for cash and non-cash transactions.
  • Submission of cash and non-cash reporting for the branch on time and frequent monitoring of all over-aged cases (deferrals, TODs etc.) is also a key responsibility of this role.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve operational excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
