Medical Data Specialist Job Description

Job Summary:

  • This role involves supporting healthcare data projects from extraction to analysis and strategic insights. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in medical terminologies, clinical trial data, and healthcare coding systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract and validate large datasets for accuracy and quality. Perform detailed checks on extracted data to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist in developing market definitions, including NDC codes, ICD codes, and other disease-related coding systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data analysis and reporting processes.
  • Conduct comprehensive HCP profiling using secondary research methodologies and collaborate with internal stakeholders to present findings and insights.
  • Validate medical data to ensure adherence to industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and effective communication across teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data analysis, validation, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminologies, clinical trial data, and healthcare coding systems is essential.
