Job Title: Senior Process Optimization Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our process engineering group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing complex dynamic simulation process models and smart applications using Simulation and Optimization tools.

You will analyze project requirements, translate into specifications, and deliver high-quality project results. Your expertise in building, configuring, and running simulations for various scenarios on Oil & Gas Process models will be crucial in optimizing and de-bottlenecking systems.

Additionally, you will assist in Flow Assurance model building for Real-time production assurance systems and execute OTS projects with project teams for end-to-end design & delivery for Refinery, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement complex dynamic simulation process models and smart applications.
  • Analyze project requirements and deliver high-quality project results.
  • Build, configure, and run simulations for various scenarios on Oil & Gas Process models.
  • Conduct dynamic process and control studies to optimize and de-bottleneck systems.
  • Assist in Flow Assurance model building for Real-time production assurance systems.
  • Execute OTS projects with project teams for end-to-end design & delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations / process controls / process Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring, and First Principal modelling.
  • Proficient in Aspen Hysys, Aspen GDOT, KBC Petrosim, Technip Spyro, and other modeling tools.
  • Knowledge of Real Time Optimization applications like ROMeo and APC applications like Rockwell Pavilion.
  • Ability to read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and control logics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, domain knowledge, and Chemical Engineering principles and operations.
