Job Title: Corporate Planning Specialist

Join Goldman Sachs as a Corporate Planning Specialist and play a key role in shaping the firm's strategic objectives. As a member of the Corporate Planning & Management Division, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business planning and analytics, expense management, third-party risk management, and governance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with 2LoD, Risk Partners, and Third Party Risk Management leadership to identify, define, and document project objectives and requirements.
  • Support the development of Process, Control, Issue & Event Management framework design.
  • Map horizontal risk processes end-to-end and identify control gaps to drive remediation prioritization efforts.
  • Work with business teams to develop and execute framework proposals to achieve objectives, identifying key milestones and critical path.
  • Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them without complete information.
  • Prepare materials for working groups and committees, project dashboards, operating model diagrams, requirement specifications, test plans, etc.
  • Conduct detailed problem tracking, resolution, and completion of all actions and issues by their deadlines.
  • Communicate updates, statuses, and timelines to stakeholders and escalate items at risk.
  • Support teams with best practices, program-wide tools, dashboards, and other enablers.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Qualification or graduate degree.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal (written and verbal) skills, strong attention to detail.
  • Sound understanding of risk management principles.
  • Sound understanding of control framework.
  • Understanding of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) cybersecurity framework will be beneficial.
  • Understanding of the Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) framework will be beneficial.
  • Ability to lead across team members and drive assignments to completion.
  • Ability to navigate through complex situations.
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver under pressure.
  • Strong work ethic and high level of motivation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in Business Intelligence (BI) tools will be beneficial (Alteryx, Qlik, Tableau).
