Release Manager Role and Responsibilities:

The role of a release manager involves leading the development of comprehensive release plans aligned with organizational goals.

  • Spearhead process improvements by standardizing workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Implement industry-leading practices to elevate the release management lifecycle.
  • Develop and present high-level dashboards and reporting metrics to guide decision-making.
  • Mentor team members in utilizing data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

Key Skills Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in release management
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, statistics, or another related field
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Expertise in utilizing advanced reporting tools for release management and analysis
  • Knowledge of version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with financial systems
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL
  • Experience with scripting languages like Shell and batch
  • Knowledge of build automation tools
  • Additional skills such as programming language proficiency, test automation, and AWS cloud experience
