Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of client accounts and financial transactions.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills for interacting with clients. You will be responsible for managing client onboarding, transaction processing, trade settlements, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update client ledgers, tracking deposits, withdrawals, and trading margins.
- Reconcile daily balances to ensure accuracy in client accounts.
- Process client pay-ins and pay-outs for trades.
- Ensure timely completion of settlement obligations.
- Generate and distribute contract notes, trade confirmations, and margin reports to clients.
- Handle client queries related to trade execution, account balances, and discrepancies.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations, preferably in stockbroking or financial services.
- Proficiency in accounting software and stock trading platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, settlement cycles, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of tax-related compliance and regulations.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
