About Cybersecurity Roles

Cybersecurity professionals play a critical part in protecting business operations and developing exciting capabilities on the frontline of cyber defense. This role applies passion and knowledge of cyber security to improve internal and external workflows by supporting optimal cybersecurity control alignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing consultative advice for informed risk management decisions
  • Identifying controls to handle information risks as needed
  • Finding opportunities to improve risk posture, developing solutions for remediating or mitigating risks and assessing the residual risk
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with teams involved in handling information risks across the organization
  • Identifying and assessing the severity and potential impact of risks and communicating solutions in a way that influences optimum risk mitigation
  • Supporting the documentation of Security Policies and Standards
  • Assessing the risk and providing governance of high-risk security related requests
  • Reviewing the security components of technology changes
Requirements
  • Experience in coordinating complex Technology projects
  • The ability to effectively influence others to account for plans and collaborative behaviors
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to diverse audiences
  • Ability to identify and assess cybersecurity threats, risks, and controls to mitigate risks cost-effectively
  • Excellent prioritization capabilities and aptitude for breaking down work into manageable parts
  • Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously and pay attention to sources of information from inside and outside one's network
  • Discipline and interpersonal skills to work well in a global environment
  • Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • 4+ years Information Security experience
  • 2+ years with risk advisory
  • Experience with information security management frameworks
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
