As a member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of our infrastructure and security practices. We're seeking an individual with expertise in cloud architecture and infrastructure management to design and implement scalable and secure systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design and manage cloud infrastructure for high availability and scalability, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Infrastructure Security: Establish and maintain robust security controls to safeguard our digital assets.
  • Automation and Deployment: Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Vulnerability Assessment and Incident Response: Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Logging and Monitoring: Implement logging and monitoring frameworks to ensure real-time visibility into system performance and security posture.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Partner with engineering teams to embed security best practices and drive compliance readiness through security automation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in DevOps or security engineering roles.
  • Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Experience with Terraform / Ansible / Kubernetes / Docker.
  • Familiarity with networking and endpoint security principles.
  • Proficiency with monitoring tools and ability to analyze data to inform security decisions.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of security fundamentals and industry-standard best practices.
  • Prior startup experience preferred, with comfort wearing multiple hats and adapting to changing priorities.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Exposure to zero-trust architectures and ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulations, such as SOC 2 or HIPAA.
  • Experience responding to security incidents and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and ability to develop automation scripts to streamline processes.
